More than 30 CEOs from IT companies gathered to agree the best practices of recruiting and retaining talent in the industry.
Guadalajara Jalisco, March 2, 2017- In the framework of the IT Talent initiative, the CEOs of the companies that make up the IT cluster were invited to the introduction of the Best Human Resources Practices project for IT Sector Sustainability.
The event was held at the CSW on March 2nd with the participation of more than 30 companies involved in the IT sector.
The presentation was executed by the leaders of the project: Guillermo Ortega, Director of iTexico, Horacio Lopez, Human Resources Manager of Luxoft & Marc Richter, and General Director of NXP.
As a result of the meeting, some ideas arise to follow up the project. Examples of these are to create a LinkedIn community with participants of the initiative to maintain an effective communication channel, create a calendar of meetings to foster cohesion and integration among the people involved in the project, define the best conditions to attend the actual Talent offer and define metrics for the measurement of the effectiveness and progress of the initiative.
The project “Best Human Resources Practices for the Sustainability of the IT Sector”, aims to formulate the appropriate strategies to ensure the development and permanence of the IT Talent, to promote its professional growth and boost the competitiveness of the IT sector in Jalisco.
