The Software Center as the venue for the International Festival “Cry of Women”
A cry of Freedom for All the Girls of the World
Guadalajara Jalisco, March 24, 2017- The exhibition “Cry of Freedom for the Girls of the World” was inaugurated at the Software Center, where “Women & Art” Collective protest against violence towards girls, giving them a voice to denounce the aggressors for pedophilia, neglect, sexual harassment.
This multidisciplinary event is held throughout March in more than 30 Latin American countries. The exhibition “Cry of Freedom for the Girls of the World” involved the work of 16 writers and 23 plastic artists.
The 28 works that are shown in the Center of the Software, are the result of the magnificent connection between writers and plastic artists, who exposed through the painting the horrors that live the girls, to inspire the verses of the poets.
